Accessing Billing History
How to View Your Invoices
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Invoice History tab
- See all past invoices listed
Invoice List View
Each invoice shows:
- Invoice number
- Date charged
- Amount paid
- Payment status
- Plan name
Invoice Details
Viewing a Single Invoice
Click on any invoice to see:
- Invoice Number - Unique identifier
- Billing Period - Dates covered
- Amount Charged - Total with taxes
- Payment Method - Card ending in xxxx
- Date Paid - When payment processed
- Plan Details - Professional or Growth
Downloading Invoices
Download PDF:
- Click on the invoice
- Click Download PDF
- Save to your computer
Email Invoice:
- Click on the invoice
- Click Email Receipt
- Invoice sent to your email
Bulk Download:
- Select multiple invoices
- Click Download Selected
- ZIP file with all PDFs
Understanding Your Invoice
Invoice Breakdown
Typical Invoice Items:
- Plan subscription (Professional $19 or Growth $49)
- Add-ons (if any)
- Subtotal
- GST/HST (based on province)
- Total charged
Tax Information
Your invoices include:
- GST/HST registration number
- Tax amount charged
- Province-based tax rate
For Tax Deductions: Your Akili Apps subscription is a business expense. Keep invoices for tax filing.
Billing Cycle
Monthly Billing
- Charged same day each month
- Based on signup date
- Example: Signed up March 15, charged every 15th
Annual Billing
- Charged once per year
- Same date anniversary
- Save with annual plans
Proration
When you upgrade mid-cycle:
- Credit for unused time on old plan
- Charge for new plan pro-rated
- Clearly shown on invoice
Payment History
Viewing All Payments
Settings > Billing > Payment History
Shows:
- All payment attempts
- Successful payments (green)
- Failed payments (red)
- Refunds (if any)
Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- Email notification sent
- 5-day grace period
- Retry attempted
- Update payment method if needed
Common Questions
Q: Where can I find my invoices?
Go to Settings > Billing > Invoice History to see all past invoices.
Q: Can I get invoices for tax purposes?
Yes, all invoices are available in your billing history with tax information included. Download PDFs anytime.
Q: How far back can I see invoices?
Your entire payment history is available as long as your account is active.
Q: Can I change the email for receipts?
Yes, go to Settings > Profile to update your email. Future receipts go to the new address.
Q: What if I need a duplicate invoice?
You can download or email any past invoice from your billing history at any time.
Q: Do invoices show my business name?
Yes, if you've set up your business name in Profile Settings, it appears on invoices.
